In December 1999 I designed and helped develop an official NBA basketball game for the Nintendo Color Gameboy (Digital Creations)

In August 1996, I helped set up and co-ordinate the Alan Shearer press conference at St. James' Park which included liaising with TV crews, radio journalists and other media representatives from all around the world

In the summer of 1996, I assisted in the set-up and production of a conference with Tony Blair at the Newcastle Civic Centre

While working at Newcastle Evening Chronicle, I covered the 1992 Cowies International Football Festival in Sunderland

For four years I worked as a television camera operator on the
Great North Run

I have experience of using a variety of computer operating systems including DOS, Windows 95/98, Windows NT and Windows for Workgroups; and various software packages including WordPerfect, Microsoft Office (Word for Windows and Powerpoint Graphics), Microsoft Frontpage, Quark XPress, Adobe Photoshop and Go Live, 3D Studio, Rio Graphics,
Lotus 1-2-3 spreadsheets, Claris Works and Discreet Logic non-linear video editing.

I am a qualified basketball and volleyball coach and hold a pool lifeguard award. At university I was coach and social secretary of the volleyball club and took an active role in organising and playing for the basketball club. I have competed in many amateur swimming galas up to county level. At school, I organised 5-a-side football teams and a Sunday league team.
